Terrified by environment sounds. Created with multiple samples recorded in rooms with echo. Magix was used to mix.

This piece is a sound-sculpture of a weather effect commonly called the beast from the east in the uk. It is based on a longer piece by me called frozen kaos. This was constructed by me using only copywrite free sources of sounds, musical(ish) pieces and natural sounds. All of these were assembled and processed using the free software package audacity™. Most samples have been filtered, pitched, and manipulated vastly to make the basic foundation. On that base all the rest of the sounds were layer (over 200 different layers -- manipulated, mixed down, rebuilt, remixed, manipulated). I mostly work be happenstance and never take notes -- often what comes about is as much by chance as by design.

This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

Low, metalic drone in f# made by time-stretching some voice sample ran through vocoder (using paul's extreme sound stretch). It has some digeridoo timbre, but just a little bit :) enjoy.

This is a sample of a ship talking to port control. It was created using text-to-speech software like acapela and editing the voices in audicity to sound like radio transmissions. Squelch and bleep sounds from the ptt buttons were added to the mixed clip.

I made a saw wave and put some flanger and paulstretch effects to it on audacity and made this synth-like saw wave inspired by the saw wave sample from the ps1 startup sound. If you want to put a loop to this sound, it's 67109 to 84907 on openmpt. Do whatever you want with this (like sounds or music) and credit me if you want as pk superstar256 (in a fan project) or ismo-kun games (in a commercial project). Yes, you can use this in things that can make you money, just don't make money off of this sound of its entirety in unedited form. Acid bass: 110 bpm c2 note, not your typical saw/square basslines. High sweeping filters in parallel with lfo routed to certin parts sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random presets, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down. An old sample. I don't remember if this was made in soundforge or goldwave, but i think it was originally a recording of my voice. . . Some kind of chewbacca-like noise. Heavilly flanged. Oh, and please, forgive the onomatopoeic naming convention, but i like my sounds to look like they sound.

This was a request. I did a few voice samples and fighting/battle/noises and also the sentence "where am i? i don't know where i am. Sister? are you there? sister, help me. "the sound starts after 20 seconds in order to make it easier to edit and remove white noise.
